e-ASC Best Practices I – First Time Setup
The following settings
are required to be done for the very first time before using e-ASC. It should also be carried out incase your
computer is corrupted by spyware / newly installed software that may affect the
settings. Please follow the steps as
shown below.
1) Launch the Internet Explorer browser.
2) Once you have successfully opened your browser, click on the Tools drop-down menu. Select Internet Options.
3) Click the General tab, select Settings at the Temporary Internet Files options.
4) At the Settings window frame, check Every Visit to The Page radio button. Click OK.
5) Select the Privacy tab, make sure the Settings is at Medium. Uncheck Block pop-ups at the Pop-up Blocker options.
Click Apply and press OK.
6) Select Content tab. At the Certificates options, click Clear SSL State.
Click Apply and press OK.
A dialog box will appear to confirm SSL Cache was successfully cleared.
7) Select the Content tab. At the Personal information options, click AutoComplete.
AutoComplete Settings frame will appear. At the Use AutoComplete for options, check Web addresses. Uncheck Forms and User names and passwords on forms.
At the Clear AutoComplete history, click at Clear Forms and Clear Passwords.
Then, click OK.
A dialog box will appear to confirm your action, click OK.
8) Select the Advanced tab. Choose Restore Defaults. Click Apply and OK.
Close your Internet Explorer browser and restart your computer.
